COVID-19 UPDATE

December 10, 2020

Hey Noire Babes!

We hope your holiday season is going well and you all are staying safe and well. We wanted to bring you all the latest news regarding COVID-19 regarding the holiday season and how we at Jolie Noire and our print partners are progressing and what that means for our orders. As the pandemic is on the increase, again, our partners are continuing to make adjustments to ensure the safety of their employees while still providing uninterrupted services for our brand.

What does this mean for the Jolie Noire brand? Gratefully, we are still able to continue providing you all with the styles you all have grown to love and new styles for the holiday season. Our fulfillment partners are working with increased capacity staff and are working hard to ship orders out timely. Our fulfillment partner services multiple small businesses like ours and each of us have seen an influx of orders. While fulfillment has stabilized to 3-7 business days, excluding weekends and holidays and our orders are being shipped out timely, once they're in the hands of the carriers, it's up to their sorting center capacity. We see that the order deadlines provided by our carriers aren't fully reliable at this time, which means that sadly some holiday orders might not arrive on time even though they were submitted before our deadlines. We understand receiving holiday gifts late is disappointing and frustrating for everyone. With all the shipping delays we're seeing and our order deadlines behind us, any orders coming in from now will most likely be delivered after December 25.

With this holiday season many people have shifted to e-commerce this year, shipping carriers in the US are struggling to process all the incoming orders. Some of the carriers are limiting the daily number of packages they accept from a customer, and millions of shipments are stuck in distribution centers, leading to extensive industry-wide shipping delays. Please note that tracking links will take longer than usual to update, with shipments being stuck in pre-shipment. This doesn't mean that your order is lost, but that it's still being processed by the carrier—the overload of shipments means shipping carriers are slower to register and ship your orders from their distribution centers.

We are still constantly reviewing orders and keeping in close communication with our print partners regarding orders.

We will continue to post updates as we receive them here. Thank you for your patience during this time. We pray you all are staying safe.

If you all have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out via email, info@joliexnoire.com, our online contact form or any one of our social media channels!

Warmly,

Jolie Noire
